An annual physical examination for your pet becomes all the more important because of their shorter lifespan. At Countryside Animal Hospital, we recommend thorough check-ups and preventive care to prevent or take care of serious health problems.
Our wide range of veterinary services include:
Annual wellness exams and routine preventive care can help alleviate health problems, so your pet can live a happy and healthy life. A wellness exam allows our veterinarians to give your pet a nose-to-tail physical exam, any needed vaccinations, routine wellness screening, parasite screening, and the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns.
During your pet’s wellness exam, we will make recommendations for vaccine schedules specific to their age, species, breed, state guidelines, and lifestyle.
Our veterinarians can help you select the best food, treats, and portions to best suit your pet's needs.
Typically, when our pets need urgent care, we can’t always plan ahead. Our doctors dedicate time to seeing patients in need of same-day, urgent care.
With our advanced in-house diagnostic tools we are capable of retrieving results within several minutes helping us to better assess and treat your pet quickly and effectively.
Our veterinarians are capable of performing routine and advanced surgeries. Surgeries commonly performed, but are not limited to, spay, neuter, hernia repair, enucleation, laceration repair, and cystotomy surgeries.
In order to keep your pet as safe and comfortable as possible canine and feline patients require sedation, intubation, dental scaling, polishing, and potentially extractions.
We offer a complete in-house pharmacy to provide safe, reliable, and timely medications for the needs of your pet. The range of prescription medications includes antibiotics, pain medications, specialty medications for chronic conditions, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention, internal parasite treatment, and supplements. Our staff works diligently on refilling your pet's medications.
We offer HomeAgain microchips, which provide a permanent form of identification for your pet. A microchip can help your lost pet return home safely and quickly.
Our educated staff of veterinary technicians are well trained to perform services that include, but are not limited to, nail trims, vaccination boosters, subcutaneous fluids, and laboratory testing.
Saying goodbye is never easy, but we have services so it can be done peacefully at home. Please call Dr. Emily Bold (570) 575-9664 or the office to discuss or set up an appointment.
In addition to the services listed above, we also provide puppy and kitten care, senior care, grooming services, behavior counseling, ophthalmology services, end-of-life care, and more.
